The way I look at my work, life, relationships are now different after reading this book. I related to the stories. and ways I can dump my own head trash- which can get quite full.
I have not read a book this insightful in a long time. I had a few “Oh, Wow” moments because it allows you to look at our life. Very important. Very impactful.
Couldn’t Put The Book Down
The cover and title really caught my attention. Did not know what to expect but I couldn’t put the book down. This book is filled with funny stories and action I can take to get out of my disconnected brain. Definitely a must read for leaders.
Putting an End to the Bad Effects of Negative Self-Talk
Headtrash delivers on its promise to help you address your negative self-talk–those voices in your head that bring you down or those stories that you tell yourself that hinder you from being your best. The author is very generous in offering personal and honest examples of when she has been limited by her own headtrash. She also offers actionable advise on how to recognize your headtrash, how to understand what triggers you, and how to “own it, shift it, and dump it.”
thought this book is excellent in providing clear and practical means to navigate to your (or my) potential though the muck of headtrash. Its something that I have struggled with and this book provides some great assistance with it. Highly recommended.

Everyone is faced with doing more with less. You might have a full-time job and now you have somehow become an underqualified, home-schooling teacher responsible for getting your child through 5th grade. You now work from home and used to cook 2 meals a day and now it is 3. All of these realities combined easily adds up. Welcome to burnout.
There is no better time than now to work with your team on frugal innovation as there are so many challenges to solve and opportunities to leverage. Frugal innovation is an active thinking lab that you can have in your building.
